Metal oxide film formation from coordination complex solutions by surface layer-by-layer chemical deposition technique
الملخص
The layer-by-layer deposition technique for metal oxide thin films from solutions of complex compounds is proposed and considered by examples of copper and titanium oxides from ammonia copper and titanium citrate-peroxide complexes as sources respectively. The films were deposited on glass substrates and flexible substrates made of polyester. The resulting films were investigated by atomic force microscopy and transmission spectroscopy. For both materials the grain structure is obtained, measured energy gap values (3.2 eV for titania and 2.1 eV for copper(I) oxide) are in agreement with literature data.
